After chasing up my application, the same recruiter told me a couple of times that he would follow up with me later in the week, but never did.
Months later, and after follow-ups to the person I was speaking with in recruiting, as well as to the Americas recruiting email group, I think it's pretty safe to say that I was ghosted.
