I applied online and was contacted within a few days by a recruiter.
The first stage was a short phone call where we discussed my general experience with games, my familiarity with Epic’s titles, and any previous QA or testing work I’d done.
The next stage was a video interview with a QA lead and another team member. They asked about bug reporting practices, how I’d prioritize issues, and how I approach testing both from a user and technical perspective. They also gave me a short hypothetical scenario where I had to describe how I’d test a new in-game feature and report a bug.
The process was straightforward and took about two weeks from start to finish. Everyone I spoke with was friendly and clear about expectations. Although I didn’t get the offer, it was a positive experience overall.
