I applied on the Epic website and the next morning had an email response from the company requesting a phone interview.
They provide a calendar where you can choose a 30-minute time slot from almost every day, Monday-Friday, 7:30 am to 5:00 pm.
I had a phone interview a few days later with a long-time QA employee who explained the benefits the company offered and general work QA would do.
He talked quickly and a lot; it was hard to keep up. What was supposed to be a 15-minute interview turned into 50 minutes, mostly of him talking.
Next steps in the hiring process were an online personality test and skills assessment specific to Epic.
I requested to take the skills assessment on campus because my computer doesn't support the software they use. They kindly accommodated this request, and I took the test another three days later.
One week after the test, I received a rejection email. When I asked for feedback, they said to be fair to all applicants, they can't provide individual feedback.
