Process

During the interview process at Google, they want to see how you would face uncertainty and play with some elements like not being responsive to emails for a few days or changing interview schedules a few times. Probably the hiring manager I dealt with wasn't great at being responsive.

The technical test is difficult for the reason that they ask you to code in a Google Doc without access to a code editor and all the features you normally use on your daily basis.

Lastly, I'd like to mention that I didn't apply for the job. They offered me the interview through LinkedIn. I was selected for a role that doesn't match well with my professional experience, something that can be easily appreciated just by reading my online resume. This controversy was something I wondered about throughout the whole interview process.
