Process

I applied online for JPM Singapore and had 3 rounds of interviews:

1st: Technical round with two interviewers (1 hour) - They basically went through my resume and asked questions from every technology stack (Java, Spring, DB, Design Patterns). They wouldn't bother to insult you if you were unable to answer something you put on your resume. I remember they asked me whether I was aware of the "SOLID" principles, and I said I didn't know, and they were quite surprised. But I managed to answer all other questions properly.

2nd Round: Another technical interview with another two interviewers - Again, a 1.5-hour interview, and they asked various different questions from Java (heavily on Concurrency and Collections, Concurrent Collections), Spring microservices, Authentications, Oracle DB, query optimization, indexing, etc.

3rd: Final round with an ED - Asked a lot of finance-related questions, and it was more of a discussion session. He was super nice and explained his team and his role and how they work. He even explained the answers to his questions, and we discussed "Equity, Bonds, the 2008 Financial Crisis, AML, etc."

Do study about JP Morgan if you pass the first two rounds of interviews and have a meeting with the big boss. Good luck!
