Senior Applications Developer Interview Experience - Bengaluru, Karnataka

May 1, 2016
Negative ExperienceNo Offer

Process

First round was a written test, with 2 papers.

  1. Multiple objective questions (10 questions from core Java)
  2. Algorithm round (level order traversal, find an element in a row and column sorted matrix, reverse each word of a string)

The written round was very good.

Second round was a video conference round from Mumbai, as they don't have an interview panel in Bangalore.

They asked basic OOPs concepts, questions from collections, very basic questions from JSP and servlets, and a few database-related questions.

This round also went well. I answered almost all the questions correctly and was hoping for positive feedback from the interviewer. But surprisingly, I was rejected.

It was a very bad experience.

If someone from the HR team is following this thread, I have a request for them: please try to arrange a proper interview panel during the interview process.

Questions
