Great pay, and you get to work with some outstanding people. The environment is friendly, and contractors are treated with respect, unlike in many organizations. The company, at least in my division, seems to understand that IT brings value and is not just overhead.
It can often be hard to get things done due to a massive corporate bureaucracy. Even small changes to systems and network resources can take weeks or months to get done due to cumbersome procedures and a staggering list of stakeholders that all have to be consulted.
Work to streamline organizational structures. Try to reduce the number of chiefs to Indian ratio.
