Good overall company to work for but some definite drawbacks in some entry level support roles

Pros
  • Top shelf pay and benefits
  • Managers are trained to do what managers should do
  • Company is moving towards more current open and collaborative environment and culture, which could still improve, but also holds to more classic approaches, which I actually do like in some ways (fewer distractions)
Cons

Specific to some support teams:

  • Hellish on-call weeks (expect 80hrs+, round the clock, days with no sleep)
  • No room for more broadly applicable skill and knowledge growth
Advice to Management

I like my managers. They are top notch managers, that care about and focus on the right things... people! They got your back, and will look to make you more successful in any way they can.
