Front End Developer Interview Experience - Barcelona, Spain

Process

  1. Interview with HR. It was more about my overall experience. The chat was pleasant, and the person from HR left an excellent impression of the company.

  2. Screen call with the engineering lead. It was apparent the person does not like to do interviews; less than 20 seconds, without any small talk, they already asked the first technical question. The interview took only 20 minutes; they asked only general technical questions that did not reflect any skill. If the engineering lead were a bit nicer, the overall experience might have stayed positive.

As expected, I got a generic rejection email the morning after.
