Process

I applied online. The recruiter called me after two weeks. Then she ghosted me for four weeks. Finally, she set up two telephonic technical interviews after repeated emails.

After that, I was called for an onsite interview. They flew me in and out on the same day.

I had four-hour-long interviews with five people.

Everything went well, but then the recruiter never called me to give an update. I emailed her twice and then finally, she called me.

She said I did not make it as the team wanted someone with five to six years of experience, and since I had only three years, they did not want to continue. However, she said I did very well in the interviews and the team recommended me for any junior position.

Well, if they wanted someone senior, why did they even call me for an onsite? It's weird!

I just wanted honest feedback on my interview.
