I was contacted directly by the HR of the company, and in the beginning, all rounds were arranged properly.
There were a total of 6 rounds:
1st round: Online Assessment focusing on Automation, Web Services, and Java Programming. 2nd round: F2F interview covering basic to advanced Java. 3rd round: F2F interview assessing analytical and problem-solving skills on Java programs. 4th round: Covering other technologies like Web Services and performance testing, along with problem-solving. 5th round: Similar to the previous rounds.
Finally, the day came for the HR interview, which I cleared as well.
However, before relieving the offer, HR contacted me and said the position I interviewed for was closed.
Overall, the interview process, with back-to-back rounds, took almost 20 days. I had to manage my current office commitments alongside the interview process.
And after all that, one fine day, HR suddenly realized they were out of budget and were planning to close the position! Seriously...
This was one of the worst experiences I have ever had with such a Tier 1 company.
My advice: During the first communication itself, make it a clear point with the company and the HR in contact about your expectations and their expectations, as they have a pathetic habit of realizing things at the last moment.
Data structures basics. Sorting. Reverse string. Webservices methods used. Performance and load testing questions. TestNG and other etc.
