Pros

Friendly environment, a resource to learn, get exposed to other teams' upstream services, and dependencies.

Cons

Long meetings, the manager does all the talking while the developer just listens and agrees to his/her ideas. Developers have to crunch to meet deadlines. There are limited resources to keep up with the work.

Advice to Management

Let the developer do their job without interrupting them so often. When a manager asks a developer to do a quick task, it interrupts the developer's work, so the developer's work takes longer to deliver the tasks they are focusing on.
