Software Engineer Interview Experience - Munich, Bavaria

December 1, 2014

Process

Here on Glassdoor I saw the job offer and applied directly.

I was contacted by email and scheduled for a telephone interview.

After the telephone interview (a few questions about my personality and some about OOP fundamentals), I was invited for an introductory interview.

The interview was scheduled to last two hours, but it actually lasted around four hours. Five different people questioned me about OOP, Web, Java VM, and Buffer Overflows. One person told me everything possible about the internal structure of the company and about Espresso, and showed me a small walkthrough on how to use Espresso.

At the end, they said they would get back to me in a week, but it took three weeks.

Important: Only English was spoken via email, on the phone, and in person.
