Transportation Engineer Intern

A. Morton Thomas and Associates, Inc. (AMT) is seeking a Transportation Engineer Intern for their Parkersburg, WV office. This paid full-time internship runs from June through August 2025 (flexible) with potential transition to a Full-Time Junior Engineer Role upon graduation. The role involves supporting various engineering projects, including regulatory reviews, cost estimates, and procurement support. Interns will gain hands-on experience in data management, report preparation, and field assignments under the guidance of experienced Project Managers and Team Leaders.

The ideal candidate should be pursuing a degree in Civil/Transportation Engineering with a minimum 3.0 GPA. Strong communication skills, technical aptitude, and proficiency in Microsoft Office are essential. Experience with engineering software like AutoCAD and MicroStation is preferred but not required.
