Description For Lead Engineer

ABM, a leading provider of integrated facility solutions, is seeking a Lead Engineer to join their team in Las Vegas. This role is crucial for maintaining and managing all mechanical systems within the property. The Lead Engineer will be responsible for overseeing HVACR equipment, chilled water systems, boilers, refrigeration systems, and various mechanical and electrical building systems.

The position offers a competitive salary of $38 per hour ($79,040 annually) and comes with a comprehensive benefits package. The ideal candidate will have 8-10 years of experience in building operations and maintenance, with 3-5 years in a supervisory role.

As a Lead Engineer, you will be responsible for developing work assignments, managing building energy efficiency, maintaining critical systems, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Your expertise will be essential in overseeing various systems including HVAC, electrical equipment, boilers, refrigeration systems, and life safety systems.

Responsibilities For Lead Engineer

  • Develop work assignments and handle special tasks, including trouble calls
  • Oversee operation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems and water treatment procedures
  • Manage electrical equipment, including motors, compressors, and power distribution systems
  • Maintain boilers, heaters, pumps, and mechanical equipment for steam and water distribution
  • Oversee refrigeration systems, including compressors, evaporators, and valves
  • Manage building energy efficiency through seasonal recalibration and preventive maintenance
  • Maintain building lighting, mechanical, and plumbing systems
  • Conduct regular inspections and ensure adherence to safety regulations
  • Manage operational manuals, logs, and preventive maintenance programs
  • Train personnel on operating procedures and techniques

Requirements For Lead Engineer

Linux
  • 8-10 years of experience in building operations and maintenance
  • 3-5 years in a supervisory role
  • Extensive knowledge of mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems
  • Strong understanding of energy efficiency management
