Description For Senior Marketing Automation Engineer

We're seeking a Senior Marketing Automation Engineer to join our global Revenue Systems team. This role is crucial in elevating our Martech stack, particularly in driving the adoption of modern AI tools to enhance effectiveness. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing various Martech API integrations, working alongside teams handling Salesforce, ABM, and other sales and marketing tools.

The position requires a blend of technical expertise and marketing technology knowledge. You'll be designing and maintaining API integrations, ensuring seamless data flow between platforms, and implementing innovative solutions to improve system efficiency. Your work will directly impact our marketing automation processes and contribute to Airwallex's continued growth.

Key qualifications include extensive experience with Marketing Automation tools (especially Marketo), strong API integration skills, and a deep understanding of marketing technology ecosystems. You'll need to be detail-oriented, analytical, and capable of navigating ambiguous situations with an entrepreneurial mindset.

Responsibilities For Senior Marketing Automation Engineer

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust API integrations connecting platforms with marketing automation tool
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical requirements
  • Ensure accuracy, consistency, and security of data across integrated platforms
  • Monitor integration performance and troubleshoot problems
  • Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and security policies
  • Stay updated on new API features and implement enhancements including AI technology

Requirements For Senior Marketing Automation Engineer

  • 5+ years of experience with Marketing Automation tools (2+ years Marketo experience)
  • Experience with CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce)
  • Track record of building reliable API integrations
  • Strong understanding of data flows and technical limitations between platforms
  • Strong analytical skills and data driven orientation
  • Solid communication and collaboration skills
  • Adobe Marketo Engage certification and basic SQL skills (preferred)
