You will design and simulate engineering solutions for complex yard and material handling challenges, considering human/equipment interactions.
Key responsibilities include leading simulation efforts, working with diverse customer groups, analyzing results with internal experts, and creating advanced models for 'what-if' scenarios. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and suppliers to drive innovative solutions.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data science, experience with simulation tools, and expertise in statistical modeling. You should be comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously and communicating effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge designs and methodologies, contributing to the future vision of Amazon's Sort centers. You'll be part of a team that's driving innovation in areas such as yard and UTR infrastructure concepts, Middle Mile Node design, and sustainability initiatives.
