As an IT Support Engineer at Amazon, you will report to the on-site IT Manager and be responsible for directly supporting the employees of the Operations department. This means providing direct support to those who enable the delivery of your purchased items. You will work as an important part of a diverse team, collaborating closely with the company, your colleagues, and remote support teams to ensure first-class IT support. You will develop your skills in delivering high-quality results and constantly striving for improvements. This is not a typical office environment, characterized by shift work five days a week.
Your responsibilities will include: • Ticket management, including first and second-line support • Installation, maintenance, and support of IT equipment • Collaboration with regional and on-site IT specialists in implementing projects and introducing innovations • Asset and inventory management • Coordination and communication with suppliers and third-party providers • Providing technical assistance and input to site and team projects/initiatives • Conducting testing and inspection of end-user devices • Supporting IT specialists as needed
