Description For Storage Cloud Support Engineer- Spanish Speaker

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Storage Cloud Support Engineer who is fluent in Spanish. As a member of the AWS Support team, you'll be at the forefront of cloud technology, assisting a global list of companies and developers using AWS services.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Learning and using groundbreaking technologies
  • Applying advanced troubleshooting techniques to provide unique solutions
  • Interacting with leading engineers worldwide
  • Partnering with AWS teams to reproduce and resolve customer issues
  • Providing feedback to internal teams on service improvements
  • Driving customer communication during critical events
  • Working on projects to improve support processes and customer experience
  • Creating technical content for the developer community
  • Solving complex customer problems across multiple AWS services

The role focuses on AWS storage services including S3, Storage Gateway, Glacier, EFS, FSx for Lustre, Snowball, AWS Transfer for SFTP, DataSync, and AWS Backup. You'll act as the "voice of the customer" to development teams for recurring issues or feature requests.

Requirements For Storage Cloud Support Engineer- Spanish Speaker

Linux
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English and Spanish (written and spoken)
  • 2+ years of Technical support experience
  • Knowledge of networking protocols: DNS, HTTP, SSL, TCP and UDP
  • Unix/Linux or Windows system administration skills
  • Knowledge of filesystem, block, object storage, Storage architectures and backup/DR strategies, AWS S3
