AWS Infrastructure Services (AIS) owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. As a Data Centre Operations Engineer Intern, you'll be part of the team that keeps the cloud running. You'll work in an Amazon Data Center, providing technical support, including risk management and mitigation, corrective and preventative maintenance of critical facility infrastructure, vendor management, and metrics reporting.
Key responsibilities include:
The internship is full-time (40 hours/week) for 12 consecutive weeks. You'll work with equipment that supports mission-critical servers and must maintain better than 99.999% uptime. This includes stand-by diesel generators, switchgear, UPS's, PDU's, AHU's, chillers, cooling towers, chemical treatment systems, pumps, motors, VFD's, and building automation systems.
