Amazon Robotics, located in the greater Boston area, is at the forefront of robotics innovation. We're seeking a talented Manufacturing Engineer to join our Technical Operations team, reporting to the Manager of Advanced Manufacturing. This role is crucial for new product introduction (NPI) and scalability of various products from design to production. You'll work with a diverse team of engineers from around the world, designing, testing, and building dynamic robots and mechatronic systems.

The position involves working cross-functionally with Hardware Engineering, Global Commodity Managers, Supplier Quality Engineers, and Technical Program Managers. You'll be responsible for developing suppliers, managing product lifecycle changes, guiding quality improvement projects, and driving technical root cause analysis in supplier quality activities.

Our co-located offices, labs, test floors, and factories enable rapid innovation and immediate implementation of ideas. We're currently advancing in autonomous movement, artificial intelligence, machine learning, manipulation, simulation, and robotic management software. The Advanced Manufacturing Engineering Team consists of talented individuals with diverse educational and practical experiences, focused on providing value to stakeholders and evaluating cutting-edge manufacturing technologies.

The role requires up to 35% travel, both domestic and international, offering opportunities to work directly with manufacturers and evaluate prototypes during production. You'll be part of a team that values inclusion, innovation, and continuous improvement. Even if you don't meet every qualification exactly, we encourage you to apply if you're passionate about manufacturing engineering and want to make an impact on a global scale.

Working at Amazon Robotics means being part of a team that's revolutionizing how automation and robotics can enhance customer experiences. You'll have the opportunity to work on real-world problems, implement best-in-class processes, and be at the epicenter of robotics innovation. The position offers a unique blend of technical challenge and business impact, making it ideal for someone who enjoys both engineering excellence and practical implementation.
