Amazon's Device, Digital & Alexa Support (D2AS) team is seeking a Business Intelligence Engineer to join their Product Analytics team. This role focuses on leveraging data analytics to enhance customer experience across Amazon's device ecosystem, including Kindle, Fire tablets, Fire TV, and Alexa-enabled devices. The position combines technical expertise with business acumen, requiring skills in data analysis, visualization, and pipeline development. The team contributes to product development and feature rollouts by providing data-driven insights and dashboard solutions. Working closely with Engineering, Science, and Data Engineering teams, you'll help build and analyze systems that directly impact customer service and business growth. Responsibilities For Business Intelligence Engineer
- Engage closely with Engineers, Scientists, and Data Engineers on developing BI/analytics solutions
- Support A/B experiment feature testing and analysis
- Build and analyze key metrics to uncover trends and root causes of issues
- Own the design, development, and maintenance of ongoing data pipelines, metrics, reports, visualizations, analyses, dashboards
- Help define requirements around customer service interactions and establish actionable insights
Requirements For Business Intelligence Engineer
- 3+ years of analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL etc. experience
- Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools
- Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines
- Experience in Statistical Analysis packages such as R, SAS and Matlab
- Experience using SQL to pull data from a database or data warehouse and scripting experience (Python) to process data for modeling
