Amazon's Promise team is seeking a Business Intelligence Engineer to join their Supply Chain Optimization Technology (SCOT) Group in Austin. This role is crucial in building data analysis systems that enable data-driven decision-making at scale. The Promise team sets customer delivery expectations and serves as the interface between customer expectations and Amazon's fulfillment capabilities.
As a Business Intelligence Engineer, you'll work in one of the world's largest data warehouse environments, developing analytics and visualization solutions used across multiple departments. You'll be responsible for designing and implementing scalable solutions that analyze data from production systems into end-user facing applications.
The Promise Insights team in Austin manages critical services for customer delivery promises, owns the Promise data pipeline, and develops analytics platforms and web tools. You'll work with huge datasets to provide business insights, run simulations for business-critical decisions, and help optimize delivery promises for Amazon's global retail business.
The ideal candidate should have deep expertise in large dataset management, excellent communication skills, and passion for data analytics.
