Description For Capacity Engineer, AMZL WW Process Engineering

Amazon Logistics (AMZL) is seeking a Process Capacity Engineer to join their Worldwide Process Engineering team in Tokyo. This role combines data analytics, process engineering, and strategic planning to optimize Amazon's logistics network capacity. The position involves working with cross-functional teams to drive short and long-term decisions that impact the AMZL network at scale.

The role encompasses three core functions: owning analytics and optimization for all planning cycles, managing operations clock design, and supporting Process Capacity products development. You'll collaborate with program managers, engineers, and business leaders to design Amazon's future logistics network.

As a Process Capacity Engineer, you'll analyze mechanical capacity needs, lead benchmarking initiatives, and provide data-driven recommendations for station design configurations. The position requires strong analytical skills, business acumen, and the ability to work in a dynamic environment with complex challenges.

The successful candidate will join the AMZL WW Process Engineering team, which focuses on developing best-in-class process infrastructure and layouts across the global network.
