AWS Infrastructure Services is seeking a Data Center Engineering Operations Technician to join their world-class team maintaining and operating critical infrastructure systems. The role involves hands-on electrical and mechanical equipment maintenance, reporting to a Data Center Facility Manager. You'll be responsible for maintaining mission-critical systems including standby diesel generators, 3-phase electrical systems, UPS units, PDUs, and various mechanical equipment like CRAHU units, centrifugal chillers, and cooling towers.

As an Engineering Operations Technician, you'll be part of AWS Infrastructure Services, which owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. You'll collaborate with software, hardware, and network engineers, working on challenging problems that impact the global supply chain.
The position requires physical capabilities including regular lifting, working on ladders, and maintaining balance while performing construction tasks. Shifts can be up to 12 hours and may rotate on a predefined schedule, with some locations having on-call rotations.
