Responsibilities For Data Center Manager, Data Center Operations
- Managing and developing teams of engineers
- Maintaining existing co-located and in-house Data Centres
- Building and bringing online new Data Centres
- Improving processes and procedures
- Managing relationships with external vendors & contractors
- Ensuring adherence to Health & Safety standards
- Creating and maintaining metrics on Data Centre operations
- Implementing service methodologies including incident management, problem management, change management
Requirements For Data Center Manager, Data Center Operations
- Engineering degree or equivalent
- 7+ years of relevant engineering experience managing large scale services
- 7+ years of experience in DC Operations, IT Operations or similar roles
- 3+ years building & managing technical teams
- Incident Management Experience
- Vendor Management Experience
- Process Improvement Experience
- High degree of organization and detail-orientation
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Security and Health & Safety awareness
