Responsibilities For Data Center Operations Manager, DCC Communities
- Prioritize and assign trouble tickets to data center technicians and operators
- Coordinate change management resources
- Guide, train and educate data staff on best practices
- Manage and deliver mid-size projects
- Recommend, document, and oversee policies and procedures
- Manage a diverse team of data technicians
- Provide weekly reports to the data center manager
- Maintain the on-call schedule
- Recruit and train data technicians
- Host weekly staff meetings
- Write and deliver performance reviews for staff
Requirements For Data Center Operations Manager, DCC Communities
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 5+ years of experience managing people in a technical environment
- 3+ years of experience with hardware architectures, troubleshooting, networking, and cabling best practices
