Description For Data Engineer, WWSNA

Amazon Japan is seeking a talented Data Engineer to join their WWSNA team, working on one of the world's largest and most complex data warehouse environments. This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on Amazon's data infrastructure and business operations.

The position involves designing and implementing scalable data solutions for Amazon's Inbound & Outbound Transportation business. You'll be working with cutting-edge technologies and AWS services, creating robust data pipelines that power critical business decisions. The role requires expertise in Python, Airflow, and SQL, along with experience in AWS services including Redshift, Glue, S3, and CloudWatch.

As part of the S&A (Standardization & Automation) team, you'll be contributing to a vision where technology truly enables Finance through automated planning and data-driven decision making. The team believes in driving efficiency through standardization and automation, measuring success through tangible time savings for customers.

The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise with strong business acumen and communication skills, as you'll be collaborating with business owners, Product teams, and Tech leaders to gather requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
