Responsibilities For Engineering Operations Technician, Data Center Engineering Operations
- Drive innovation while reducing operational costs in the facilities
- Drive projects with moderate complexity
- Troubleshoot facility and rack-level events within SLAs
- Perform rack installs, decommissioning, and facility management
- Provide key performance indicators to senior engineers
- Manage on-site contractors and vendors
- Maintain data center critical infrastructure equipment
- Perform maintenance on electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety equipment
- Ensure adherence to safety procedures
- Manage ticketing systems and perform root cause analysis
Requirements For Engineering Operations Technician, Data Center Engineering Operations
- 1+ years of electrical or mechanical experience
- 1+ years of data center or mission critical facilities experience
- High school or equivalent diploma
- Ability to lift and move up to 39 pounds unassisted
- Physical capabilities: walking, climbing, stooping, kneeling, crawling
- Ability to work rotating 12-hour shifts
