Responsibilities For Engineering Ops Technician, DCC Communities

  • Drive innovation while reducing operational costs in the facilities
  • Drive projects with moderate complexity
  • Assist in troubleshooting of facility and rack-level events within internal SLAs
  • Perform rack installs, rack decommissioning, operational readings and facility management
  • Provide key performance indicators to senior engineers
  • Manage on-site contractors, sub-contractors and vendors
  • Perform maintenance and operations on electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety equipment
  • Maintain data center critical infrastructure ensuring 99.999% uptime
  • Support basic concepts such as ticketing systems, root cause analysis, change management

Requirements For Engineering Ops Technician, DCC Communities

Linux
  • High school or equivalent diploma
  • 2+ years of electrical and/or mechanical experience OR 2+ years of data center or mission critical facilities experience
  • 2+ years of experience MS Office Suite experience
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 39 pounds unassisted
  • Physical requirements: walk, use hands and fingers, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, climb stairs
