Responsibilities For Engineering Ops Technician, DCC Communities
- Drive innovation while reducing operational costs in the facilities
- Drive projects with moderate complexity
- Assist in troubleshooting of facility and rack-level events within internal SLAs
- Perform rack installs, rack decommissioning, operational readings and facility management
- Provide key performance indicators to senior engineers
- Manage on-site contractors, sub-contractors and vendors
- Perform maintenance and operations on electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety equipment
- Maintain data center critical infrastructure ensuring 99.999% uptime
- Support basic concepts such as ticketing systems, root cause analysis, change management
Requirements For Engineering Ops Technician, DCC Communities
- High school or equivalent diploma
- 2+ years of electrical and/or mechanical experience OR 2+ years of data center or mission critical facilities experience
- 2+ years of experience MS Office Suite experience
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 39 pounds unassisted
- Physical requirements: walk, use hands and fingers, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, climb stairs
