Amazon is seeking bright, adaptable, and hardworking applicants to join our IT Services organization as an IT Support Engineer. IT Support Engineers work with Amazonians to provide and support the IT equipment and services that are used every day. We treat Amazon employees as our customers and provide timely, accurate, and professional assistance.

Key responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive technical support to Amazon Corporate employees
• Troubleshoot and support escalations beyond the scope of front-line support
• Create and maintain documentation
• Manage ticket queues and conduct ticket auditing across North America
• Handle technical project work and system/network outage escalations
• Follow, update, and create standard operating procedures (SOPs)

The ideal candidate will be customer-focused, motivated by team success, innovative, energetic, and able to adapt quickly while handling a high volume of requests. You'll need to be committed, flexible, and able to maintain high levels of productivity while delivering quality support.

Basic Qualifications:

• 1+ years of Windows Server technologies experience
• 2+ years of troubleshooting in a multi-user high availability environment
• 2+ years of networking experience
• 3+ years of corporate setting Windows, Mac, or Linux operating systems support
• 2+ years of supporting and maintaining a corporate network environment
• High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications:

• 4+ years of corporate setting Windows, Mac, or Linux operating systems support

Amazon offers a competitive compensation package, including a base pay range of $46,900 to $103,000 per year, depending on geographic location and other factors. The company also provides equity, sign-on payments, and a full range of medical, financial, and other benefits.
