Prototyping Solutions Architect - Global Financial Services

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking experienced technologists with a unique balance of technical depth and strong interpersonal skills for the role of Prototyping Solutions Architect in Global Financial Services. You will partner with some of the world's largest companies, AWS Sales, and other AWS teams to build highly scalable, flexible, and resilient cloud architectures that address customer business problems and accelerate AWS services adoption.

Key responsibilities include:

• Collaborating with sales to drive revenue growth across global customers
• Helping organizations understand best practices for advanced cloud-based solutions and workload migration
• Building sample applications and working side-by-side with customer engineers
• Conducting training sessions and deep architectural discussions
• Contributing to AWS customer-facing publications
• Building relationships with senior technical individuals within customer organizations

The ideal candidate will have:

• Strong understanding of large-scale computing solutions
• Experience as a systems or software engineer
• Proficiency in cloud solutions using infrastructure as code
• Programming experience in languages such as Python, JavaScript, Java, or related languages
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to make work fun
• Passion for educating, training, and building cloud solutions for diverse enterprise customers
