Responsibilities For Security Engineer, EPP Analytics
- Build tools and services for monitoring and responding to malicious activity on Amazon's internal network
- Design and develop secure solutions for mission-critical systems
- Collaborate with internal service teams and IT services teams
- Build detections and analytics to find and reduce insider risk
- Lead complex and ambiguous projects
- Conduct security reviews and threat modeling
- Mentor team members and run design review meetings
Requirements For Security Engineer, EPP Analytics
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
- 3+ years of experience in threat modeling, secure coding, identity management, authentication, software development, cryptography, or network security
- Knowledge of security engineering, system and network security, authentication protocols, and cryptography
- Experience reading and writing in at least one programming language
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
