Senior Business Intelligence Engineer, Prime Video: Playback Intelligence

Prime Video is seeking a Senior Business Intelligence Engineer to join their Playback Intelligence team. The role involves shaping the future of video entertainment for movies, TV, and live sports events. Key responsibilities include:

• Building high-quality data architecture and ETL pipelines using SQL and scripting
• Analyzing data using Amazon's technologies (AWS S3, Glue, SageMaker, etc.)
• Designing and maintaining self-service automated reporting and dashboards
• Reporting key insight trends using statistical rigor
• Working closely with business stakeholders to define analytics roadmap
• Managing and executing analytics solutions end-to-end
• Prioritizing effectively in a fast-paced environment

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in data analytics, reporting automation, program management, stakeholder management, and strategic planning. They should be passionate about working with streaming video at scale, big data problems, low latency stream processing, and developing insights through machine learning.

This role offers the opportunity to work on one of the largest Big Data problems in the world, developing solutions that generate insights for customers through machine learning and tooling. The team supports streaming of Video on Demand content, including Amazon Originals, thousands of linear channels, and live events.
