Description For Software Development Engineer, NTE-CRM

AWS operates one of the world's largest and most highly available networks, which continues to grow rapidly in response to customer demand. The Network Availability Engineering (NAE) team is seeking a Software Development Engineer to join their Active Monitoring team. This role is crucial in ensuring the availability of Amazon's global network through synthetic traffic generation and fault detection systems.

You'll be part of a high-bar team responsible for Network Observability software used across all of Amazon's businesses. The position offers the opportunity to work on challenging problems at scale, designing and implementing solutions that directly impact AWS's network reliability. You'll handle the complete product and software development lifecycle, from defining requirements to testing and deployment.

The ideal candidate should be passionate about writing quality code, embrace code reviews and automated testing, and have a strong ownership mentality. You'll work in a flexible, fast-paced environment where innovation is encouraged, and problems are solved at a global scale.
