Amazon's Payments Risk team is seeking a Software Development Engineer to join their mission of making Amazon.com the safest place to shop online. This role focuses on detecting and preventing fraudulent purchases across hundreds of millions of e-commerce transactions in six countries.

The position involves:

  • Building software systems, risk models, and operational processes to minimize risk and maximize trust in Amazon.com
  • Working with a talented tech team to develop robust automation solutions
  • Creating applications to solve technically complex problems in fraud prevention
  • Designing and implementing systems that enhance continuous value delivery to customers
  • Using core AWS technologies to build and maintain critical infrastructure
