Sr. Software Development Engineer

Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) is seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer to join their Inventory Management team. This role is crucial in helping worldwide sellers leverage Amazon's vast distribution network. As a leader within FBA, you'll provide both strategic and tactical oversight to build features that create the best-in-class offering for sellers. You'll be responsible for creating mechanisms to drive optimal seller behavior for FBA inventory management, reducing supply chain costs, and making it easier for sellers to position their inventory closer to customers.

The FBA Inventory Management team focuses on helping selling partners and enterprises optimally plan and manage their inventory in Amazon's fulfillment and warehousing network. The team provides sellers with detailed visibility of their inventory, performance metrics, planning & automation tools, and recommendations to manage their inventory effectively while meeting both on- and off-Amazon demand.

This role combines the agility of a startup with enterprise-scale resources, giving teams the freedom to innovate and experiment. You'll be working with large-scale distributed systems, handling high-volume transaction processing, and developing solutions in a global context.
