Description For Technical Sourcing Program Manager, Annapurna Labs Systems Engineering

Annapurna Labs, an organization within AWS, is at the forefront of hardware/software co-design, creating innovative cloud solutions through custom chips, accelerators, systems, and software stacks. The MLA Technology team seeks an experienced Technical Sourcing Program Manager to manage relationships with sourcing, manufacturing, and delivery partners. This role focuses on hardware components and scale technologies powering Machine Learning boards and servers.

The position requires a unique blend of technical expertise and supply chain management skills. You'll work directly with Annapurna Labs engineering, component engineers, and AWS global infrastructure teams to build and run technology sourcing and qualification programs. The role involves analyzing industry capacity, particularly in the GenAI space, to predict market constraints and develop strategic sourcing plans.

As a successful candidate, you'll need strong analytical skills to dive deep into data and make informed decisions. Leadership abilities are crucial as you'll drive programs through various organizational levels and communicate with executives. You'll be responsible for understanding key technology trends, managing BOMs, and executing strategic initiatives for quality, availability, and cost improvement.
