Control Systems Engineer Manager - Avenel, NJ

Reliability & Maintenance Engineering (RME) team is hiring for a Control Systems Engineer Manager! Our Reliability & Maintenance Engineering (RME) team is integral to the success of Amazon worldwide. Key responsibilities include:

• Coordinate and plan work activities for Control Systems Techs/Leads
• Work closely with various teams to support MHE systems optimization and project implementation
• Understand, maintain, and troubleshoot material handling control systems
• Monitor MHE metrics and partner with maintenance/operations for system performance issues
• Act as first-level escalation support for Control Systems Techs/Leads
• Mentor Control System Technicians (CST) and Control System Leads (CSL)
• Facilitate Failure Analysis and Incident Review processes
• Apply subject matter expertise in material handling and electronic systems
• Partner with building Operations leadership, equipment vendors, and parts suppliers
• Communicate technical issues and project timelines
• Assist with skill assessments for Technical positions
• Travel up to 20% post-launch, 50% or more pre-launch

This role requires a Bachelor's Degree or +2 years of Amazon Blue Badge/FTE experience, and the ability to work flexible schedules/shifts/areas, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
