In the Mechatronics & Sustainable Packaging Customer Experience organization at Amazon, we work backwards from customer needs to represent their voice throughout the product lifecycle. As a Sr. Ops Engineer for Deployment & Ramp, you'll oversee multiple products and programs, focusing on deploying Mechatronics Sustainable Packaging (MSP) solutions at new and existing fulfillment centers. Your role involves coordinating installation, commissioning, and performance ramp-up of products in the field, while driving continuous improvement in deployment cycle time and engineering design. You'll manage project plans, influence deployment strategies, and own tactical planning for complex cross-functional projects. This role requires extensive travel (up to 75% or more) across North America and potentially internationally. You'll collaborate with various teams, including hardware engineering, technical program managers, and internal customers, to ensure successful product deployment and achievement of business requirements. The ideal candidate has a strong technical background in automated material handling equipment, project management experience, and the ability to work in a global environment while managing multiple responsibilities.
