Site Reliability Engineer (Middleware), Enterprise Technology Services

Apple's B2B team is seeking a technically hands-on Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) for their Enterprise Technology Services. This role involves managing critical integrations with Apple's supply chain partners, including manufacturers, logistics providers, banks, resellers, and business customers. The SRE will be part of a dynamic team working on innovative projects involving machine learning, anomaly detection, and threat detection.

Key responsibilities include:

• Implementing and maintaining best-in-class DevOps practices
• Working on complex technical challenges related to scalability, reliability, and performance of Apple B2B systems
• Managing the lifecycle of machine learning models in production and non-production environments
• Continuously assessing and improving system processes
• Detecting anomalies and identifying areas for optimization
• Implementing solutions to enhance system reliability and performance

• A passion for programming
• Good conceptual understanding of operating environments (JVM, Operating Systems, File Systems, Network Protocols)
• Strong technical expertise and communication skills
• Ability to work with both technical and non-technical groups within Apple and externally with supply chain partners
