With over 50 years of experience in the insurance industry, BHHC has evolved from a regional organization to a national insurance group, offering comprehensive coverage across the United States.

The role serves as the first line of defense in the organization's 24x7 Command Center, where you'll be responsible for monitoring and maintaining the health of BHHC's IT infrastructure, systems, and applications. This position is perfect for an entry-level engineer with a passion for IT operations and system administration.

Key responsibilities include monitoring IT systems using tools like Nagios and SolarWinds, performing system administration across multiple platforms, managing security protocols, and providing excellent end-user support. You'll work with cutting-edge technology while gaining exposure to cloud platforms and security tools.

The position offers an attractive compensation package ranging from $74,006 to $90,854 annually, along with comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401k matching, and tuition reimbursement. The hybrid work arrangement provides flexibility while maintaining collaborative opportunities in their modern Walnut Creek office.

BHHC stands out for its commitment to work-life balance and inclusive culture. The office location offers excellent amenities, including a free on-site fitness facility, garage parking, and convenient access to public transportation. The company's strong focus on professional development, combined with their stable financial background and positive work environment, makes this an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a career in IT operations.

The ideal candidate will have at least one year of IT operations experience, strong technical skills across various platforms, and a dedication to maintaining system security and performance. While a high school diploma is required, a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field is preferred. Various technical certifications, though not required, are viewed favorably and demonstrate a commitment to professional growth.
