Bitmovin, a Series-C SaaS scale-up, is revolutionizing the video streaming technology industry, serving prestigious clients like Disney, Warner Brothers Discovery, and BBC. We're seeking a Software Engineer in Support to join our Software Support team in Brazil, serving as the technical bridge between our products and customers.

In this role, you'll be instrumental in maximizing customer value from our media compression, playback, and analytics products. You'll dive deep into customer integrations, troubleshoot complex technical issues, and build trusted relationships with industry-leading Video Streaming content providers.

The ideal candidate brings a unique blend of technical expertise in software development (JavaScript/Java/Python) and customer service excellence. You'll need strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills in both Portuguese and English, and experience with support tools like Zendesk or Jira.

Responsibilities For Software Engineer in Support

  • Become familiar with customers' integration and use of Bitmovin products in video workflows
  • Triage and troubleshoot support cases to determine root causes
  • Be the voice of Bitmovin to customers and advocate for customers' needs
  • Establish trusted advisor relationships with customers
  • Provide custom solutions, recommendations and training
  • Take technical ownership of key growth and strategic accounts

Requirements For Software Engineer in Support

  • Experience in software development with JavaScript OR Java
  • Foundational knowledge of Swift, Kotlin, Python
  • Experience in support or service-oriented customer-facing roles
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in troubleshooting complex technical issues
  • Knowledge of support and CRM tools (Zendesk/Intercom/Jira)
  • Portuguese language proficiency
