Responsibilities For Emulation and Silicon Validation Engineer

  • Conduct detailed studies of chip architecture and micro-architecture
  • Develop system-level tests using Tcl, ITcl, Python, C/C++
  • Synthesize Verilog RTL and build models for emulation platforms
  • Perform chip/system-level debugging and root cause analysis
  • Develop and optimize automation scripts and emulation methodologies
  • Create reusable synthesizable design blocks and libraries
  • Plan, organize, and execute silicon bring-up and test plans
  • Create and maintain emulation and post-silicon validation environments
  • Collaborate with Architecture, Design, DV, Software teams

Requirements For Emulation and Silicon Validation Engineer

Python
  • Bachelor's degree + 8+ years of related experience
  • Experience with C/C++ DPI Transactors and SystemVerilog assertions
  • Ability to design and develop synthesizable models for emulation
  • Experience with IXIA/Spirent traffic generators
  • Strong understanding of networking protocols and RFC test suites
  • Familiarity with PCIe, SPI, and JTAG protocols
