Description For Customer Delivery Security Consulting Engineer - Department of Navy

Cisco is seeking a Senior Security Consulting Engineer to join their Customer Experience (CX) team delivering Business Critical Services to customers, specifically focusing on the Department of Navy. This role combines Cisco Analytics and Knowledge with technical expertise to drive value, innovation, and adoption in customer networks. As a trusted advisor, you'll help customers understand their network, reduce risks, and leverage cutting-edge technology. The position requires a Secret clearance and involves working on US Government classified environments.

The role demands deep expertise in network security with at least 8 years of relevant experience. You'll be responsible for transforming network architectures, collaborating on projects that impact Veterans and military service members, and delivering sophisticated business and technology solutions across data, security, mobility, and cloud domains. Experience with Cisco security products like Identity Services Engine, Firepower, and Secure Network Analytics is highly valued.

This is a hybrid position based in either Columbia or Charleston, South Carolina, with the flexibility to work remotely within the continental United States. Requirements For Customer Delivery Security Consulting Engineer - Department of Navy

  • Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, U.S. national, lawful permanent resident, asylee, or refugee)
  • Current US Government Secret Clearance
  • 8 years relevant experience in network security
  • Cisco Certified Networking Professional (CCNP)/Security or equivalent skills
  • Must live within commuting distance of Charleston, SC or be located within continental US
