Join Cisco's Global Security Sales Organization (GSSO) as a CyberSecurity Solutions Engineer, where you'll play a crucial role in driving the success of Cisco's Security Portfolio. This position combines technical expertise with pre-sales responsibilities, focusing on protecting customer application environments across on-premises and cloud deployments.

As a Solutions Engineer, you'll work directly with Security Sellers and Account teams, providing technical guidance and expertise in security product solutions. Your role involves demonstrating products, conducting technical presentations, and designing security architectures that address specific customer needs. You'll build relationships with key decision-makers while working alongside technology experts to craft effective security solutions.

The position requires a strong background in security technologies, with at least 4 years of technical sales experience and 2+ years specializing in security. You'll need expertise in various security domains, including Firewall/IPS, SIEM/XDR, NDR, EDR, and SASE/SSE technologies. The role demands both technical depth and excellent communication skills, as you'll be responsible for translating complex technical concepts into business value for customers.

Linux
  • Minimum of 4 years of technical sales or pre-sales experience with 2+ years of Security specialization
  • Experience with Firewall/IPS, SIEM/XDR, NDR, EDR, SASE/SSE technologies
  • Successful quota achievement
  • Experience with low-layer IP networking and network security
  • BS/BA (EE/CS) or equivalent preferred
  • Strong presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with Cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP) preferred
  • Industry Certifications (CISSP, GIAC, Etc.) preferred
