Sr. Civil Engineer

The City of Fort Worth Water Department is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to join their Capital Delivery team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to one of the fastest-growing large cities in the U.S., serving nearly 1,000,000 residents. The position focuses on water/wastewater plant projects, water/sanitary sewer rehabilitation projects, water storage tanks, pump stations, lift stations, and meter stations.

The role comes with an attractive compensation package of $100,000 - $116,968 annually, plus an $8,000 sign-on bonus split between the first pay period and 6-month employment mark. As a Sr. Civil Engineer, you'll be responsible for designing and managing water and wastewater projects, participating in capital project planning, coordinating engineering projects, reviewing contractor work, and conducting public meetings. The ideal candidate will bring at least 3 years of professional engineering experience, with 2 years of project management expertise specifically in water and wastewater projects.
