Job Description
Counsel Health is dedicated to multiplying the world's healthcare capacity by building an AI-first medical practice that automates clinical processes. They are seeking a talented and driven Software Engineer to define the future of human + AI collaborative care models. This hybrid role, located in New York City (Flatiron) or Boston, offers significant responsibility and ownership over the product, shaping the future of the engineering organization. The role involves cross-functional collaboration with product, clinical, and commercial teams, interfacing with healthcare organizations nationwide.
The engineer will develop patient-facing features on web and mobile apps, scale backend infrastructure with a focus on stability and data integrity, and improve the physician-facing care platform by integrating AI tooling. This includes building robust integrations with enterprise clients like EMR integrations, claims data structuring, and HIE records parsing. The company has raised over $35M from top-tier VC firms. Responsibilities
- Developing patient-facing features on our web and mobile apps to increase engagement and retention on our AI-powered care delivery platform
- Scaling backend infrastructure with a focus on stability and data integrity
- Improving our physician-facing care platform and integrating AI tooling to increase physician efficiency and clinical capabilities
- Building robust integrations with large enterprise clients, including EMR integrations with healthcare providers, claims data structuring with health plans, and HIE records parsing
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience
- Building new products from zero to one in high growth environments
- Hands-on experience building from the ground up in fast-paced, high-growth environments
- Experience at early-stage companies or through personal projects
- Self-motivated, creative doer who takes ownership of broad initiatives and drives them to completion, navigating ambiguity with ease
