Cymulate, a leading provider of Continuous Security Validation solutions, is seeking a Senior Pre-Sales Security Engineer to join their growing team. The company serves world-class clients like YMCA, Brinks, and EuroNext, and has received high ratings on both Gartner and Glassdoor.

The role combines technical expertise in cybersecurity with customer-facing responsibilities, requiring a seasoned professional who can bridge the gap between sales and technical teams. You'll be instrumental in demonstrating and implementing Cymulate's security solutions, working directly with customers throughout the sales cycle and beyond.

As a Pre-Sales Security Engineer, you'll leverage your extensive cybersecurity knowledge to provide technical guidance to both internal teams and customers. Your expertise in areas such as red-team testing, Breach and Attack Simulation, and various security tools (SOC, SIEM) will be crucial in helping customers understand and implement Cymulate's solutions.

The ideal candidate brings 8-10 years of pre-sales cybersecurity experience, with a strong understanding of various operating systems, cloud architectures, and security infrastructure. You'll work in a dynamic environment where you'll influence product development through customer feedback while contributing to the company's growth through technical sales support and industry event participation.

Responsibilities For Pre-Sales Security Engineer

  • Act as technical resource to sales teams, creating and delivering presentations, demonstrations, and Proofs of Concept
  • Manage technical relationship with customers before and during sales
  • Partner with Customer Success Team post-sale
  • Provide customer feedback to Product Development Team
  • Advise sales teams, development teams, and leadership on technical matters
  • Collaborate with sales team to identify and qualify opportunities
  • Participate in trade shows and industry events for product promotion

Requirements For Pre-Sales Security Engineer

Linux
  • 8-10 years experience in pre-sales cybersecurity role
  • Experience with cybersecurity landscape and common tools
  • Experience working with sales teams in sales cycles
  • Familiarity with sales tools (Salesforce, Zoom)
  • Knowledge of Windows, macOS, and Linux technologies
  • Hands-on experience with SOC, SIEM, and cybersecurity tools
  • Knowledge of red-team testing and Breach and Attack Simulation
  • Knowledge of firewalls, web app firewalls, email systems
  • Knowledge of cloud architectures (AWS and/or Azure)
