Description For Solutions Engineer

Join Darktrace's vibrant Go-to-Market team as a Solutions Engineer (SE). This dynamic role requires a mix of technical expertise, cybersecurity passion, and sales acumen. You'll engage in both pre-sales and post-sales processes, collaborating with the account team to convert opportunities into success stories for clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the technical lead between clients, partners, and internal teams
  • Qualify, prioritize, and drive new business opportunities
  • Collaborate with Sales to identify client needs and implement effective strategies
  • Establish yourself as a trusted advisor and technical authority
  • Conduct Proof of Value demonstrations of Darktrace technology
  • Plan and design client-specific deployment strategies and architectures
  • Travel regionally and potentially internationally to client sites

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years in a software sales engineering role (cybersecurity experience preferred)
  • Proficiency in technical language with ability to simplify complex concepts
  • Strong knowledge of on-premises and cloud networking technologies
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work independently
  • Passion for staying updated with latest cybersecurity trends
  • Master's or bachelor's degree from an accredited university
